General Questions

What is therapy like?

Therapy is a collaborative journey held in a safe, confidential sanctuary. In our first session, I focus on understanding what brings you to wanting to make change in your life. I will ask a lot of questions to better understand how to best support and help you. Starting therapy does not mean you have a diagnosable mental health condition. However, if one is present, I will explain your condition to you and help you to find the best treatment options.  Together, we'll establish goals and begin exploring the mechanisms that will empower your day-to-day transitions. We will establish a treatment plan that will incorporate psychotherapy (in varying modalities according to best practices), psychoeducation, solution focused goal setting, and advocacy for you in your environments if necessary. 

How do I start?

Starting is a gentle step forward. You can reach out via our contact form/waitlist, email, call, or schedule an initial consultation. This first session is about ensuring you feel safe and supported before we begin our work together. In an effort to maintain lower costs, I do not have offer consultation sessions(free or paid), however I am more than happy to answer your questions via email or short phone call to ensure proper fit. 

How long are the sessions?

Standard individual sessions typically last 50 minutes. This provides enough time to deeply explore your concerns while maintaining a manageable rhythm for your day. All sessions start and end with mindfulness so that you are able to enter and exit your session with emotional safety. You will be asked to complete a short survey before and after each session so that we can use accurate data to inform our therapeutic approach and alliance.  

Is therapy confidential?

Yes, confidentiality is a cornerstone of our practice. Your privacy is fundamental to creating the sanctuary needed for authentic healing and growth. We follow all legal and ethical guidelines to protect your information. If it becomes necessary to involve outside parties, you will be asked to fill out an informed consent form stating who, what, and how long you would like your information shared for.

Pricing & Insurance

Sessions are $180. I am an out-of-network provider and can provide superbills for reimbursement if your plan allows. Insurance paid sessions are through Mindful Therapy Group. Click here to be redirected to my page here. 

Scheduling

I offer flexible weekday slots. New client openings are currently available for August 2026. Join the waitlist today. Please note that I currently do not offer evening or weekend timeslots. 

Virtual Sessions

Sessions are held via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. I serve clients in Tucson, all of Arizona, and Texas.
